How to Calculate Your GPA
The GPA is a weighted average where the weight is the number of credit hours for a course. You multiply each grade's point value by its credit hours, sum the results, and divide by the total number of credit hours.
Formula: $GPA = \frac{\sum (Grade \times Credits)}{\sum Credits}$
Example: Course 1: 4.0 Grade, 3 Credits. Course 2: 3.0 Grade, 2 Credits. $\rightarrow$ GPA = (4.0×3 + 3.0×2) / (3+2) = 18 / 5 = 3.6
